Displays & Reports

Fuel Vision’s simple, yet effective displays allow operators to see the effects of control actions, such as throttle cut-back, in real-time. Over the course of a voyage, even small changes in fuel efficiency along the way can add up to large cost savings.

Fuel Display

The Fuel Display shows fuel efficiency KPIs on real-time gauges and trend graphs for a user-selected time interval. Gauges on the right side of the screen show real-time fuel efficiency metrics for NM/Gallon and Gallons/Day. Historical trend graphs on the left side of the display show both the computed KPIs (in orange), as well as their moving averages (in blue), making it easy for the operator to see the impact of his control actions (e.g. speed reduction) or weather conditions on fuel efficiency. The trend graph time scale can be changed by touching the buttons at the bottom of the Fuel Vision touch panel computer.

Cost Display

Reducing money spent on fuel is critical with today’s escalating fuel prices.

Fuel Vision allows you to monitor exactly what your fuel costs are in real-time. This allows operators to adjust and optimize fuel consumption rates to maximize fuel cost savings throughout the voyage.

The Cost Display page shows real-time cost metrics for $/NM and $/Hr. Similar to the Fuel Display, both real-time gauges, historical trend graphs, and moving average values can be viewed over the user-selected time interval (1, 12, or 24 hours). The user enters the fuel price on a separate setup page.

Emissions Display

Reducing CO2 emissions goes hand-in-hand with improving fuel efficiency. Fuel Vision allows you to monitor both.
The Emissions Display page shows CO2 tons of emissions per day. Similar to the Fuel Display, the real-time gauge, historical trend graph, and moving average values can be viewed over the user-selected time interval.
